The Story of a Photographer.

Alida Hernandez is a photographer originally from Cuba who currently resides in Florida. Growing up in Havana, she often reflects on the challenges of creating art in a country where resources are scarce, and creativity is suppressed. Despite these obstacles, she has been able to hone her skills over the years and has called the Tampa Bay area home for over a decade.

When asked about her work, Alida emphasizes that images are portraits of ideas that we create in our mind and not necessarily of everyday objects or people we encounter. To her, the true value of an image lies not in what it depicts, but in what it suggests us to imagine. ''Sometimes, the truth can be stranger than fiction''.

Alida is currently certified by the State of Florida as a woman and minority business owner. Additionally, she received the Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) and Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certifications by Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
